The teams are not that close honestly. LSU defensive talent is average at best. On offense they have talented RBs and WRs, but their offensive line talent is always overrated.
Bama by far has a more talented Sr and sophomore class. While LSU has a slightly more talented Jr class. Bama incoming freshman class was rated higher as well.
LSU talent level is often overrated. Their last 2 drafts have not been impressive.
