Not much info but saw this on BD Illustrated: LINK /
Will be good to keep an eye/ear out for new info, but if he's truly healthy that's awesome!

Interesting, would he be considered a RS Freshman?

Glad to hear he's eligible again but doubtful he fits into the new mold at receiver. Also, UGA was his only major college offer, if you remember Tony Ball liked to recruit the low hanging fruit.
Hope the kid finds the best spot for him though and gets hs degree and some playing time.

Bring him in and let him play. He's jacked up and excited and ready to contribute. That's a DGD in my book. Welcome back baby!

Don't think we have room for the kid.

He wont be playing with UGA according to Marc Weiszer on Twitter. He is saying that Rico has interest from a few schools in CUSA, SWAC, and in the OVC. (I can guarantee the OVC school is my JSU Gamecocks. Tramel Terry put in a good word for Rico. Wouldn't be surprised to see Rico come if he doesn't like what he hears from a FBS school.)

He moved to DB before the medical condition anyways. I imagine he'll likely stay in that role wherever he goes. I would not be surprised to see him go elsewhere, was just kind of exciting to hear that he's going to be able to get back after it. Best of luck to him wherever that might be!

Just to update: LINK

Fast-forward two years and Johnson is faced with another college decision. The former Georgia cornerback announced on Thursday that he had been medically cleared to play football again, and much to his surprise, he found out that a few college coaches had inquired about his services.
Johnson said he would not be returning to Georgia, but according to Carson — his prep coach — three schools have begun evaluating Johnson. Carson would not divulge the programs, but did tell DawgNation that the schools were from Conference USA, SWAC and the Ohio Valley Conference, respectively.
