IMO what he's thinking is that (when running HUNH) we're completely sacrificing pace for play-calling and creativity. That I would agree with.

I believe you can have several plays called and ready to run when we get to move into a faster pace. Hence the funny boards on the sidelines. Also part of the HUNH is that it keeps the defense guessing and setting up before they get to look at formations so they are stuck with basic formations. Then it becomes a battle of conditioning.
