interesting thought from a high school HC that apparently knows Gus and his offense..... (flea'd from Rivals)
He thinks that losing JR will be a blessing in disguise. With JR there, Gus would just fall in line with a pound it out game. Simple and easy to defense. Without him, he feels that Gus will have to go back to his roots, open up the offense, be much more multiple, waaay faster with less substitutions, much more pre-snap movement, more trickeration, more imagination. In other words get back to what made Gus, Gus. Every year his offense has de-volved into a simpler form. He needs to get back to his original offense, and be the innovator he once was. This should force his hand. I happen to agree. We'll see if that happens.
