Eh, don't want to take up for Jefferson but you don't have to have played the game to know not to field punts inside your ten. That's pretty basic fundamentals.

Yes, it is. But it is just too easy for some to sit in an armchair and point out a mistake every time a player makes one without knowing what it is like to be out there. No. He should not have tried to field the kick. But what gets me is how Jeff wanted to try to tie in Davis' being humble with that. What on earth has that got to do with anything?
