Noticed #choochoo tweets from Childress a while back. I guess it's his version of #YESSIR. Anyone got any information on the recruits he's picked up so far this cycle?

I know we picked up a transfer SP from OU. Was supposedly a Friday night starter for them before transferring.

We also picked up a commitment from Alex Scherff RHP (ranked #3 overall nationally)

I was able to surf the web and find a small write up from Gabe Bock on a 2-way player out of OU named Chris Andritsos. He was a Friday night starter as a Freshman (4-6, 4.96 and hit .250). I found an article from "Orange Bloods" on Alex Scherff. Really wish Texags would jump on this stuff...

There are some good points in the article. They say that A&M is the tu and TCU is the Rice of the mid 2000s.

They believe that Scherff will declare for MLB. They also mention that he was the 3rd A&M commitment over recent days.

Kid's FB hits 95 with movement and has good off speed stuff. He'll be drafted early.
