State has been the closest among all of those to actually winning one. Had a lead on Tennessee late in the 4th quarter in the '98 SEC CG and then Tee Martin and Peerless Price woke up.

Carolina, Arkansas and Mizzou have all been multiple times with some of the worst beatdowns in the game's history.

I figure one of these years, Aggy or Ole Miss will sneak up and win the West, then lose to the East champ in Atlanta.

So we agree on the teams with the best chance. If one of those teams makes it through the west, I like their chances in the game.

A&M came within one stop against UF of winning the West in their first year.
