You need to stick to trolling NO men's rooms. Shug averaged winning almost 70% of his games while playing TN, UGA, UF and Bama every year. I remember the Bear won a couple of SEC championships by playing Vandy as an extra game.
Eh...
Shug was 5-13 vs Bryant, of which only 2 were against good Bama teams. Shug was still a great coach, but Alabama wasn't beating out Auburn for SEC titles because they had Vandy on the schedule.
Shug also padded his wins with 16 seasons of beating up on Chattanooga, and he played against Kentucky 20 times.
His record against ranked opponents was 29-53-1 during his career. By contrast, Bryant was 50-38-5 at Alabama. For contrast, Saban is 29-15.
Shug is still a really good coach. I just don't know if he'd have the same level of elevation at UGA, UT, Bama, etc.
