Yea, the gist of the thought was the non-"state school" (like Auburn, Mississippi State, Clemson, etc). That kind of gets watered down in huge states like Florida, California and Texas.
Also - interesting stuff on A&M and Texas Farmer. Never knew A&M was older than Texas.

Damnit. Then all the schools you listed are pretty much it, other than UCLA.
