re: Why do some want the SEC to expand?

I have to agree with the Rebel enemy here. At some point it's going to kill any chances of anyone winning a title out of the Sec.

Lets say we brought in Oklahoma (a solid program) and then someone else who is pretty good that benefits off the conference and now becomes a bigger draw for top recruits. After a while you're going to see a confrence beating up each other even worse than it already does.

And before you Alabama fans chime in how it won't hurt you because you are the greatest, Nick Sabam's of the world don't come around too often and he will eventually retire.

I think the conference is already strong enough as it is. Why invite trouble?
