Thoughts? An AD's job is mostly job knobbing boosters and raising funds outside of making hires. I'd imagine he'd be very good at that as he's one of the most popular alums we have right now. Also, what better guy to make a basketball hire which we will need to do soon.
Seems like a good fit as a guy who deeply cares for Mizzou.

Nah. I want someone who knows what they are doing with experience in athletic departments. Best option right now I think would be to have Mike Alden back.
Sundvold is a great guy, but he has little to no experience working with they type of tumultuous situation the new AD will be in. He is better off a curator where he can make hires and big picture decisions rather than the day to day operations like the AD.

Hell no.
I'll pull my season tickets, and stop boosting money to harpos if this happens.

Wren Baker. Worked his way up the rankings. Faced adversity at Northwest when he had to replace retiring legendary coach Mel tjeerdsma with Scott Bostwick who died recently after getting the job. Hired Adam Dorrel after Scotts death and Dorrel has 2 titles. Then he moved on to Memphis to gain more experience in the higher rankings. Has a good relationship with Barry Odom. Great guy and very smart.

Sundvold is a BoC member, which approves hiring/firing of AD. Seems this move would fill one hole and open up another big one.

He's only interim there anyway. I wouldn't think that would be much of an issue.

I'd give Frank Haith a shot. He seems like a good leader. #faithinhaith

Honestly, I think GP would take it in a year or 2. He could have some time off with grand kids, plus you still don't work as much as a head football coach.

My question is he the guy you hire before you hire the Guy, or is the Guy?
Meaning is he the one you see shepherding Mizzou through the next few years, or is he the guy who doesn't screw anything up while waiting for the person who will actually hold the job?
