Have y'all walked on the new turf? It's incredibly soft. I wouldn't have a problem with baseball being played on it as long as there was still dirt in the infield. All that being said, I like original turf better, but what we have is really not bad compared to artificial of old.

I'd go so far as to say it's spongy. I think it's softer than the field at Baum.
