This is a little dramatic, I'm sure there is no drama in TX High School football hirings and firings*

Allowing emotions to negate that decision is amateurish at best.

South Panola is all Ole Miss, always has been. I don't know him personally, but judging by his general demeanor on message boards, the only reason Coach34 would possibly take a job there is to attempt some coup or to try to unearth some kind of Ole Miss recruiting impropriety. Not saying he would have been successful, but he definitely would have tried.

South Panola made the right call, IMO.

He went to JC with the coach. Coach was doing a buddy a favor until he realized the buddy was way to much of a headache. Pulls offer. He didn't apply and become the most qualified. He hasn't coached in like 8 years and was an assistant middle school coach when he did.

This is the most successful school in MS football history. Trust me. There were more qualified applicants.
