The best the SEC has ever been was possibly 2010. Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Arkansas and Mississippi State were all strong that year. Mississippi State finished last of the aforementioned teams, and they were 9-4.
Still amazed that Gene Chizik coached that Auburn team.
