I'm skeptical of Mazzone, but sure lets go ahead and say he's a stud. If Sumlin is a poor CEO and needs established, elite coordinators making top dollar at every position why are we paying him $5 million? Any number of marginal coaches could do the same and with better character.
Great coaches generally get up and coming assistants jobs. We hire great assistants for top dollar to save our coaches job.
