Sounds like a decent guy. But, because he didn't send 2 Alabama football players to jail, he should lose his job.

For him to have been elected to 5-6 consecutive terms, the last one basically unchallenged, the folks in the area must trust him.

If he saw fit to no pursue the charges against the 2 Bama players then he must have felt like the evidence to convict wasn't very solid.

Now, his comments in the aftermath were just illogical and ill thought. Maybe that's common for LA folks? IDK?
