Ol' Johnny pretty much threw Ken Donahue under the bus.

We were at the LSU game in Knoxville that year --rained pretty much that whole game,too.

Donahue pretty much threw himself under the bus when he tried to start a 6'8" Redshirt Freshman at Nose (McRae went on to be a 1st round draft pick at OT).

That being said...I can't think of a single game in college football history where a DC single-handedly beat a superior opponent through scheming like Donahue did against Miami in the Sugar Bowl after the '85 season. Testaverde was on his back the entire game.
