SEC's top 5 programs over the last 20 years have been: LSU, MSU, USCe, Ole Miss, Florida. And that pretty much means you're a top 10 national program. So yeah I'd say Ole Miss and Mississippi State have elite baseball programs right now.

Same as Virginia Tech being considered an elite football program under Beamer or Oregon being considered an elite program now (although neither have won a title.)

Is Dan Marino not an elite QB because he never won a title? What about Patrick Ewing?

Ole Miss has not had more success than Arkansas over the last 20 years. Arkansas has more SEC titles, more NCAA appearances and more CWS appearances.

Outside of Hokie fans, who the hell considers them elite?
Hell, if they're elite, then so is Boise.
