Uh, yes.
Because I guess to YOUUUUUUUUUUUU, 'mediocrity' somehow magically means:
Golf: 3rd place in 2016 NCAA Finals and defending 2015 National Champions.
Track and Field: Men ranked 3rd and Women 8th, annually NC contenders.
Gymnastics: Ranked #2 final National ranking, annual NC contenders.
Softball: WCWS 3 of last 4 years.
3rd place finish in 2016.
Lacrosse and Rugby 2016 Top 5
and national finalists.
Baseball: 2016 Super Regionals. History speaks for itself. 16 CWS and 6 NCs.
Football: has averaged 10 wins a year since 2000. Only team in country to have 16 consecutive winning seasons and bowl apps, AND 18 of the last 20 seasons.
Basketball trying to regain form of 2000s, when the Ladies went to 5 straight Final Fours and the Men went to 2 Sweet 16s and a Final Four.
Yeah, thst's just plain mediocre.
