You can't drink beer on the beach in Hilton Head. SSI trumps both of them. You might as well drive the extra hour. It's worth it.

Went to SSI last summer.

SSI is cool and all but is a totally different vibe than Tybee. The beach scene, that is. Much bigger beach at Tybee. SSI has a really nice bath house though.

or keep going an hour and 30 minutes more and go to Fernandina Beach...that's my soup de jour..
