Good to see him work out a deal so quickly after SF.

DT was on SF's practice squad initially, but was signed to the active roster during the season. He is not signed to a practice squad right now, but that may be where he ends up, they have several months to develop their 53 man roster. Right now he's getting the league min for his veteran status.\, I believe. Even if he get a practice squad deal in the end, it's worth $6K a week, which is a GREAT living for a 24 year old.

Just had a Dylan Thompson sighting on HBO's Hard Knocks, doing Yoga with the QB's and linemen.

For a 23 year old, and doing the the thing/sport you love the most...oh yeah, that's a no brainer. That's a great living for a young married man. he still gets to wear the yellow no contact jersey at practice, and he doesn't get beat up during games.

Honestly, if you could pull off a NFL practice squad QB job for 10+ years, that'd be pretty choice. You'd probably have a whole lot of great NFL related stories, made a bunch of business connections and your knees are still all good.

No Doubt!! If I had a NFL career choice I would go Morten Anderson route. That guy played in the NFL forever!
