Just want to talk basketball bc I'm bored:

I told everyone last year that we wouldn't make the dance and I would be happy with the NIT. That was a realistic goal and it happened. Even when we were 16-9 and on the bubble or in the tourney according to some, I still didn't get my hopes up too much. Of course I did a little, but not a lot. Now after seeing one year of Avery's coaching I'll make my yearly prediction. This year will be a little better than last year and we WILL make the tourney. I think we'll play whoever we get really, really close and have a good shot at winning a game in the tourney. Of course I can't predict what'll happen bc idk who we would play but I say we finish like 21-11, 22-10 or something close to that and make the tourney.

What do y'all think?

I think that's a spot on assessment. I think we may have a little more upside surprise in us than people think. We aren't going to the Final Four yet but I think we may shock a big boy or two this year. Bigger than last year.

I just keep telling myself, if we can win 18 games with that group we had last year, then we should win AT LEAST 20 this year bc we basically return the whole team and add a few really good players. The players we add are all players with high talent level too, not just left over players. Technically, missing the NCAA tourney this year shouldn't be a disappointment bc it's still a rebuilding point but with the success we've had in year one, it kinda would be a disappointment
