Do you not take new information into consideration and use it to continuously mold what you believe?

Still believing what you believed since you were 5 years old seems like a bigger problem if you asked me.

Even though I don't believe what Tbird, does, don't you see how that is bad arguing there? Or do you think that makes sense? You've set up a ridiculous straw man. No one believes what the believed when they were 5... because they were 5. They had small infant brains. Everyone grows and matures from the point of five, and even things they believed that are true become more complex.

When I was 5, I believed that the sun would rise every day, that cartoons would be on tv, and my mommy would always be there for me when I needed her.

- My understanding of physics helped explain the sun thing, although I couldn't tell you exactly how hydrogen and shite are so bright, and general relativity is kind of tricky to understand.
- I don't know how a tv works, although in my electrical engineering class, I passed the unit on diodes and basic circuitry makes sense, it's kind of like hydraulics. I have a good Korean buddy that produces movies(K Town Cowboys is on DirecTV y'all should watch it) so my understanding of the film and tv industry has grown, and I took a History of Film class as an elective so I learned a bit on that as well.
- As far as a mother's love. I still don't understand it, and I don't appreciate it enough to this day. Call your mom and tell her you love her.

We're talking about a specific topic, and I bet if you polled every Christian only in this thread we'd have at least one who was saved at the age of five and is still chugging along never realizing he's never actually questioned a thing.

Instigram moms posting videos of their five yr-olds memorizing scripture, and nodding along with their husband who's talking about how them Muslims are brainwashing their children with the Quran.
