Probably bares mentioning that Auburn, UGA, SDSU, and Clemson (all tied for 9th) have yet to tee off today...

Yep, Auburn and UGA can sneak into the top 8 w/ good rounds today. Oregon is faltering and Louisville and Alabama are straight up tanking today.
