that was like first time Democrats ran a black person for a state office that I can remember. lol
SC has 1 of 2 black senators nation wide. you can't dispute that, regardless of how it happened.
as i mentioned, female indian appoint him only underscores my general point. :) SHe was elected twice bigly.
