The weather in Southern California is unfair. I'm not sure I've ever seen a better place to live year round. February, August, it doesn't matter. Now, it's not a perfect world, and there are trade offs. Horribly expensive, the traffic is god awful, every thing is overcrowded, and the people are meh. If I made a couple million a year I might live near the beach and never look back, but since I don't, I'm okay with living in Texas and visiting California every now and then.
