LSU had an RPI of 9 before taking 2/3 from the Number 1 team in Country so will be top 7 this week
Didn't work out quite that good for LSU, at 9 in the official RPI (up from 12). This late in the season, adding Florida's SOS to your figures doesn't change much, and winning 2/3 at home doesn't give you near the boost that winning 2/3 on the road would. LSU is certainly in the conversation for a national seed, but they probably need a great week at Hoover to pull it off (getting to the championship might do it, depending on who wins the other side of the bracket).

I think the OP has the order right, heading in to Hoover. We're probably only getting four, and the top three are locked in, IMO.
