What are the Rules after a rainout? (LSU vs Florida related)

This is what I've gathered and I don't understand the rules really and why they are shaped the way they are.
Rainout game on Thursday
Friday- play game 2.
Saturday Doubleheader- replay game one. Freeman on second, Duplantis at the plate on a full count, and I believe one out (?) Then, the game will be played a full nine more innings to determine the winner.
3pm game 3- if game 1 doesn't end by 3 pm, then this game will be called to start game 3 and they will go back to game 1 after the third game is complete.
Does any of this seem to complicated for a goddamn game that was only rained out?

I think it goes to a shoot-out if three on three doesn't settle it within three innings.
