A&M was ready to compete in the other sports. They have the fewest # of scholarship athletes in the entire SEC and the smallest roster in the country outside of USC and PSU (NCAA sanctions).

This will be the first year A&M should have at least 80 (allowed 85). They had 65 in 2012 and have been hovering around 72 for the last couple of years. This is why A&M has played several walk-ins throughout the years as "spot" starters and at sometimes was lining up 4 defensive ends on the line.
