You put it on biscuits - its kinda like a warm homemade chocolate pudding (not like cold instant blubber texture pudding).

Eta: probably on toast too I would assume?

Until I left Arkansas many years ago, I had no clue people elsewhere never heard of chocolate gravy. To this day when I mention it people react with a what the frick. All those years as a kid I thought it was a staple. Who knew.
