Under the former ncaa regime, 27 schollies over 3 years, one year bowl ban.

Under this ncaa, probably 8 schollies over 2 years.

With that said, I don't think anybody misses Yeagers days. That guy was brutal. He would tell u REAL QUICK he didn't need proof since he didn't have subpoena power. He would go over your allegations and say "it is the committee's belief" ..... the proof thing started with bunch. Ole miss probably caught a big break there.

We still have 6 scholarships to give for this season. Hate to see them go.

This is what is interesting for Ole Miss. NCAA has not looked great in their last two "big investigations". Plus the "SEC does things differently" mantra that exists. If the NCAA decides to make an example out of Ole Miss this could be pretty bad....think SMU. That was a shock-and-awe tactic to clean up the Big8.
