Chavis doesn't even own property in CS. He didn't in BR either. He lives in Tennessee I think. Dude lives a miserable life renting out places and going home when he can. He was notorious for skipping out on recruiting meetings and visits because he wanted to go home instead.

I wouldn't want to live in College Station Russia either.

Why would a coordinator buy property? Have you followed college football before?

Pretty sure his family has always resided in Tennessee as well. Chavis is no different than any other coach. His loyalty goes as far as who's writing him checks. Once he was no longer a coach at his alma mater, it really didn't matter what color polo he's wearing on Saturdays.

This thread isn't even about Chavis. Aggy is just bringing their daddy issues into this thread. LOOOOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

We get it. You like your coach. Good deal. This thread is about a terrible troll attempt and how Auburn paid LSU to take Steele. Amazing. If I was a god, I couldn't have even imagined this good of a solution to the Steele problem.

My soon to be in-laws work with one of Chavis' sons, and see him regularly in Knoxville. He definitely goes home a lot. His son is an attorney in Knoxville. Idk about the renting piece, but he is regularly seen in Knoxville.
