People are saying Tunsil shouldn't be considered a victim because it made that info "easily available" because he recorded it or was using social media to interact with a employee at Ole Miss.

You put yourself at a higher risk of having your bank account hacked by utilizing the online banking option. Does that make you any less a victim of theft? You didn't post your bank info publicly for everyone to see no more than Tunsil posted those messages or video publicly for everyone else to see. Both are a crime.

The difference is we did not lose any money as a result of our illegal or immoral actions. In his case that is exactly why he lost the money.
