No. I'm comparing the media's reaction to and widespread public knowledge of a player admitting to taking money from coaches on live TV during the NFL draft.

Who cares what font/color the messages are? He clarified what the reporter was asking about, said they were true, and then said yes after the reporter asked directly if he took money from coaches.

Perception is everything. What you guys did obviously isn't comparable in terms of morality. But in terms of the NCAA's public perception, this is now by far the biggest case for them since PSU given it all happened live during the draft and now a youtube with a billion hits.

Schools have been caught giving far more then rent and power bills. You used PSU as a comparison why if the infractions are not comparable?

Indeed. Plus there are force multipliers here:
- the Freeze clean-program, Christian act; and
- the fact that the NCAA is already negative on Mississippi (see thread about NCAA looking to prevent MS teams from hosting baseball regionals due to Religious Liberty law).

Ole Miss is positioned, politically, to be an easy target for the NCAA.
