To borrow a term from TV Tropes... at their best LSU is The Dragon. The thing you have to beat to get to the real boss. You are the Arn Anderson of college football.
Solid yes. Great? From time to time. The best of the best? Well... no. We are all just waiting for you to fire Miles in a fit of pique. Then you won't have to worry about anyone wondering if you are the best of the best.
That having been said, if you coon arses figure out what the forward pass is this year y'all could have a magical year. If LSU develops decent QB play you are my choice for a run at the Natty.
You're still not the Super Bowl. But... you aren't the Polan Weedeater Bowl.
