Yep.
Mississippi as a state has the highest percentage of African Americans. There are multiple counties that are 90%+ AA.

Ayers settlement
EQUALS
Highest percentage of AA population in SEC at MSU.
ETA: Just looked it up. 7 of the 10 blackest counties in the country and 15 of the top 20 are in Mississippi. 4 in Alabama and 1 in South Carolina to close out the 20.

It's true...we have long been the least racist university in the conference. It's where I learned to speak jive.
