They have been pushing the UH/Tech/UNT/UTSA/Tx State grouping to step up by dangling more funding if I remember right

And they have done a shitty job about making the improvements. They earned their reputation as not so great universities and haven't increased entrance requirements. They're getting the same lazy arse kids that couldn't get in to A&M and tu that they always have.

Yeah definitely, that's why you still see so many kids going to Arkansas, OU, LSU, OM, Bama, etc. which seem like they are stepping their game up. I would prefer to keep those kids in state but the second tier of public schools here is just so far behind

OU really has always had a ton of kids from TX though and to a lesser extent so have LSU and Arkansas. It's Bama and Ole Miss that really seem to be taking more. I feel live I've heard of a lot more kids going to schools like Arizona, ASU, Ok State lately as well from Houston

Speak for yourself, aghole.

The University of Texas at Arlington and Dallas are very well-regarded institutions, and along with UT-San Antonio, the UT board of regents has funneled lots and lots of money to them.

In other words, UT is adopting the University of California system method: making the main campus more exclusive (and smaller) while growing the other campuses.

Meanwhile, in College Station, John Sharp is hoarding all the money that is supposed to be used for the entire A&M System, and letting Commerce, Kingsville and the rest rot on the vine.

That way you ****s can log in on the Internet and brag about a $10.5 billion endowment (which is not exclusive to College Station, it's the entire system, that was another John Sharp lie), 75,000 students (biggest in Texas by any means necessary).

All while having a 70-plus percent admission rate and shitty system schools. Oh, and a plummeting US News ranking for the College Station campus.

Your aggie hubris will (again) be your downfall.
