psk answered, but to add, I don't think he is a bad coach, probably a bad fit like you suggested.
imo UT is, at best, a mediocre program in this league who might make a CWS every decade or so. Like others have said, the local populous just doesn't give a shite.
I am just glad we don't pretend like we have some high ceiling like Bama in basketball or Ole Miss in football.

I didn't think about Vandy swiping all the Tennessee talent. I just remember when Serrano was hired I thought he would turn it around or at least get out of the cellar.
