Completely different thing.
Think of it this way. The Dechambeau kid tripled 18 yesterday. His second ball off the tee, deep in the trees came to rest next to a temporary obstruction. But since he knows the rules, one of his options was to be able to move it an additional 50 yards which very fortunately took him completely out of the woods away from any obstructions with a clean shot to the green. He could have made an 8 or a 9 easily without this benefit.
In golf, there are rules that penalize, but there are also rules that help you. Champions know when to take advantage of this.

My bad y'all. I had work this morning and wasn't able to check up on anything. You have to use all 3 at some point, and can't use any player 3 times, but it does not matter what order you use them.
If you used your guy twice today, you have to use the 3rd guy tomorrow.
