Bookmarked. This bama team pales in comparison to 2011/12, and those teams didn't go undefeated. The chance their 2016 team does, with a new QB and RB, is extremely low.

I think this team has a chance to be as good as any team Saban has had.

Doesn't mean they will, they could be like 2010. But the balance of talent across the board on both sides of the ball + experience at different levels is more than we have ever had.

Pales in comparison? This team has more overall talent 1-85 (though maybe not the number of superstars) and probably fewer question marks heading into the season than the 2011 team. And about the same as 2012. Really the only question mark is who the QB will be. Bo, Harris, and Emmons should be very good at RB.

We may or may not be as good as the 2011/12 teams - and I'm not saying for certain that we will be - but you're in the vast minority if you think we will "pale in comparison" to those teams. Wishful thinking on your part.

Let's not forget that 3 of those NCs were won with rookie starting QBs.

Actually, five of Alabama's last six NCs were won with rookie QB starters.
