It looked pretty much the same. The point is, that's part of the lower bowl, not an upper deck.

In any case, it looks like this now....

REBS, you're right that photo is NOT from the late 60's/early 70's. You're right, but he was referring only to the SEZ part of that picture. This pic was taken before the new SEZ upper was built. The SEZ did indeed look like it did in this photo way back when.

I think all the confusion was that - when the SEZ was ORIGINALLY BUILT - in 1954 I think, it was built in TWO TIERS. However, the 'upper tier' was still even with the height of the rest of the stadium, it was not an 'upper deck' as what we have now.

BTW, the new VH is going to look sweet with the colors and everything....
