Gene Stallings, a NC winning Alabama coach said one time. "You don't get fired in the SEC for having a bad season you get fired for having a bad season when your rival has a good one, and your fans start thinking I wish we had their coach.

0-5 versus bama last 5 years
1-2 versus Ole Miss last 3 years
1-2 versus Arky in horrible losses last 3 years

Teams that always seem to get worse as season progresses since 2012. Play calling that painstaking unimaginative and predicable. Qb play that is consistently dismal. Teams that mail it in after the Bama loss.

Miles can only beat two teams consistently that they don't have huge talent gap on, A&M and Auburn. We typically get outplayed and outcoached in all the other games against teams with equal talent. He is a great recruiter as good as anyone in the game including Saban. Decent motivator, but as scared of a forward pass since the Lee year, as a vampire is of a cross and garlic.

In sum, we are not even worth watching until the Bama game.

I agree with your entire post, but, Saban at Bama clearly recruits better than Miles at LSU. The recruiting rankings over the years are the proof. It may be very close, but, it's definitely not equal.
