You guys don't even understand the clout that an engineering degree from THE Mississippi State University carries. There's a reason that people call us the MIT of the south.

I like the hell out of Dak, and I've lived in Mississippi for 34 years. But I've never once heard Mississippi State referred to as the MIT of the South. And not to start crap, but there's a good reason for that.

I had 2 siblings go to state and at least 5 friends who got engineering degrees there. I have never even once heard it called the "MIT of the south"
