Thanks for proving my point, tons of returning starters and experience in that front 7. When people said Bama had two starting front 7s last year, that wasn't hyperbole. Bama started and rotated a ton of guys last year depending on sets, who we were playing, etc. Ryan Anderson played every bit as much as Devall last year and probably more whether he technically started the game or not. He was also far more effective and has been considered a starter the last two years in our camp.

As far as stats for our DL, I won't waste time educating you on the role of a DL in a base 3-4 defense. Suffice it to say Payne, Allen and Hand/Tomilson will comprise one of, if not the best DL in the nation in 2016. King being a 3-star means very little. He will be a solid back-up. And just FYI...Jerran Reed was a 3-star JUCO for us a couple of years ago.

ONE returning starter on Dline
ONE returning starter at LB
I wouldn't classify that as tons of returning starters.

Granted the tide had a solid two deep along the front seven. Very talented and experienced, no doubt. Of those fourteen players they lose SIX almost half.

bama's front seven going into the '15 season had lost only three off the '14 two deep. Only two of them were starters the third was a backup Dlineman. tide basically had the same two deep front seven two years running. That's why the '15 "D" was so good.

starting front seven in '16 will be as good as usual. It's the backups that aren't as experienced yet.
