Did Marvin Zanders ever think about leaving Mizzou?

Is now. Brought in an assistant from Baylor. Tried to get another.

That system works. Baylor is great at both throwing and running. B

So if we have the Baylor system and based off of last year's Spring game (yeah I know) wouldn't it seem plausible that Zanders has a better than average chance of getting a lot of PT?

Not really. The last 2 Baylor QBs are more similar to Lock than Zanders.

Baylor ended last year with a WR as starting QB due to injuries. QB has to be able to make throws and run some.

Fair enough. I've watched about 2 minutes of Baylor football the last 2 or 3 yrs so I was assuming the QB needed to have better than average running skills.

Lock's not a stiff in The athleticism department.

And Zanders may win the job, but Lock's passing skills can make him hard to beat out b

I know (I remember the run against BYU in the 4th quarter) but he's not Zanders in the running department.

The Baylor system is built on a good running game and taking shots down the field. That lines up with what we've heard.

Now, if we can just be as successful as they are running it.

With no threat of a passing game they rushed for 300 years in the first half of their bowl game.
Baylor's line last year was similar to 2013 Mizzou line. Lots of NFL guys.
