Osweiler is going into his 5th year, 4 completed with 21 games played in. I'm not defending Osweiler, really don't give two-shits about him but he has more for scouts and coaches to base a contract of than McCarron. I'm really just crushing your terrible suggestion that Denver should pay AJ McCarron $48million for 4 years. This is why you're on a computer and not next to Elway.

14 of those games were total mop up duty his first 4 years. Before this season he had thrown 30 passes in 3 seasons, the most in a single season being 16.
His only real in game experience was 2015.
