She's a good actress - she takes it seriously but her size and look seems to limit her roles to some degree. She was great in Leon: aka The Professional though. I just didn't get Black Swan. I really liked Black Swan and thought she was incredible in it. She was great in Leon too, especially for her age.
Her roles are limited, though, because she's not a Kate Winslet-type who can pull off the elegant, classic female roles.

And Al Pacino just picks terrible movies to be in. Sort of like Liam Neeson.
Neeson as Schindler is one of the best performances I know of, but now he only stars in cheesy action movies

The best role Spacey had IMO was The Negotiator.
Tommy Lee Jones and John Voight are underrated actor also IMO by most internet critics.
As far as great movies
12 Angry Men original
The Champ remake that last scene is heart wrenching
Skyfall, the best Bond movie in 30 years
The Star Wars movies any of them, I am not a Star Wars fan but recognize how great the movies are.
But IMO Yankee Doodle Dandy is the movie every American must see. Cagney goes back to his vaudeville stage days and nails it.
