That doesn't surprise me. Bowles was transferring before this event took place (retaliation, especially something like 'you're betraying the team') would've been pointless. As I said earlier, this is no more than the lawyers' for the plaintiffs feeding the media as a strategy to force a settlement.

There was absolutely nothing new in this that hadn't already been alleged in their lawsuit by an unnamed and legally interested witness who claimed this happened along with the assault that Bowles denies happening. IOW, it's bullshite.

That said, these supposed "new" stories are designed to make UT conclude that settling rather than getting slandered in the press is the lesser of two evils. And TBH, early on I thought we should just pay up and be done with it because you can't "win" a case like this even when you win. Now, however, I'm like 'frick it, they've gone too far.' I don't know how UT's attorneys will see it but that's the way I feel.

Finally, plaintiffs attorneys are dirtier than an STD riddled male prostitute. I usually see lawyers in a neutral light (they're just doing their jobs same as anyone) but these folks are slime.

That's pretty damning, imo. Any time someone changes their story so drastically it raises a red flag.
