Sounds like they may be innocent then. I would think they would fight like hell to keep them if they were guilty.

It's pretty telling to be honest. The records might be able to have been subpoenaed, but it would have been a long laborious process with no sure chance of success. The fact that they cooperated and turned them over at the advice of their defense attorneys (who are very very good at what they do) says there's favorable evidence in those records for the defense. It's certain because prosecutors are actually fighting like hell to keep those records out. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with how uncharacteristic that typically is. Usually prosecution fights to ADMIT evidence and defense attorneys fight to suppress it.

Exactly. Now I'm not saying they're innocent, but they cooperated with the authorities and the accusers did not. It's very bizarre.
