Hereford has since made it down to Tuscaloosa twice for a visit, most recently for A-Day.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect talked about last month’s trek to T-Town with BamaOnLine, his last visit before enrolling at the University later this month.

“It was awesome,” Hereford said. “I felt a little bit better coming back after visiting times before. It was fun; I got to visit with my future roommates for the school year and mess with the other signees for the 2016 class. It was a lot of fun.”

Hereford will be living with three other preferred walk-ons in quarterback Montana Murphy, from Southlake Carroll in Texas; receiver Giles Amos from Westfield School in Georgia; and long snapper Scott Meyer from Blessed Trinity Catholic in Georgia.
